Formed in October 1988 from the merging of the two existing UK companies, Alser Limited and Cranford Shopfittings and Joinery Limited, Alser (UK) Limited currently occupies a 24,000 square ft premises including a joinery and manufacturing facility, offices, warehouses and storage units.
We are the sole agent on mainland UK for the Alser Group's equipment and a associated member of the Storage Equipment Manufacture's Association (Sema).
The Alser Group
Has been in existence for many years in France and has become the leading French specialist in manufacturing store equipment for the retail trade. The rapid development in large scale retailing during the 60's helped Alser SA gain particular expertise in hypermarkets and by 1970 Alser SA had already equipped more than 70% of existing hypermarkets in France.
The Alser Group is among the top seven hundred French industrial concerns with a turnover of 571 million French Francs and export sales accounting for 31%. Alser's reputation is well known in Europe being associated with retail groups such as Carrefour, Leclerc and Auchan. The Alser group is continuing to develop its international policy and has representation in 14 countries
